Radulov returns

Alexander Radulov has returned to the Nashville Predators after a stint in the KHL. An extremely gifted player, he has a really good resume in the KHL, being a two-time MVP and having won the KHL championship. he abandoned his contract after the 07-08 season to play in his native country russia. he's done well in the NHL, putting up some decent numbers. He arrives at a great time too. The preds have most likely secured a playoff spot and will need the extra scoring considering their leading goal scorer is only 46th overall and their top points getter is 45th overall.

Evgeni Nabokov Re-Signs

Previously pending UFA goalie Evegeni Nabokov has re-signed with the New York Islanders for one more year at the price of $2.5 Million. He was expected to be a hot commodity this year when he would hit free agency. With many teams interested in a goalie, (Toronto, Tampa Bay, Columbus, Philadelphia, Chicago) this is a significant blow to the quality of goalies in free agency market.

Remaining goalies for this Free Agency that stand out include,

Cristobal Huet: Probably not coming back and certainly not his contract size.
Martin Brodeur: If he's returning its in New Jersey
Dwayne Roloson: His age is a large problem.
Antero Niitymaki: Probably the best backup available left.
Thomas Vokoun: Will probably sign on with Washington for another year.
Jonas Gustavsson: If he does not re-sign with the Maple Leafs, he will be a hot commodity.
Martin Biron: Seems content in New York.
Josh Harding: Will be a goalie highly sought after.

Best Of The Season: Fight

To start the Best Of The Season series, we will start with fights!

Alson: For me it's gotta be Jay Rosehill vs Brian McGratten on November 17th 2011. The two enforcers came out punching. They landed a whole lot of punches just non stop. Punch after punch after punch. Knuckles were bloody after that. What made that the best fight was McGratten's taunt after the fight. Absolutely amazing. See for yourself:

Kyle: I've never seen Grabovski fight and I was very surprised that his first fight was with a veteran fighter of Chris Neil. I bet it took a lot of guts to drop the gloves with Neil and I want to acknowledge that.

This fight symbolizes how aggressive and violent but entertaining this sport is.

The part that separate this fight from others is that this fight does not stall, the fighters actaully punch each other without taking a million years to skate around the rink.

Geoffrey:

This was one of Gudbranson first fights. Downie is probably one of the grittiest player and he completely gets destroyed by Gudbranson. Just watch how many uppercuts Gudbranson throws.

Crosby's return overhyped?

Was Crosby's return last night over hyped? The entire league was there and reporters when they saw Crosby get on the ice looked like they just saw aliens. They were just so amazed. We all know what he's been through and we all know what happened last time he came back. He got two assists on his return. That's pretty good for pretty much every other player, but he's Crosby. This reminds me sort of like a bad sequel of a movie. Sort of like the Hangover and Hangover II?

Sidney's return

Sidney Crosby made his return yesterday against the Rangers. The pens went on to win their 10th in a row.
But he was shifted around the lineup, playing with the likes of Staal and suivillan. He did pick up an assist on Chris Kunitz goal and shows that he's coming back. not as showy as his last comeback ( 4 points)

Just on a side note, he also picked up another assist after review on Dupuis goal.

Andrei Markov injured once again.

Multiple reports have said that Montreal Canadiens' defensemen Andrei Markov is out once again. Habs fans don't panic yet though. He is not out with a knee injury, but with an "upper body injury". We will give you updates as we get them.

He has played 3 games this season, registering four shots and one assist. Do the Habs fan feel annoyed about his durability? Or do they feel that it's something out of his control? COMMENT BELOW!
