TSN's Darren Dreger is reporting that Jussi Rynnas has been called up on an emergency basis for tonight's game against the Carolina Hurricanes. Tonight's game is absolutely crucial for both teams' playoff hopes. The team that loses tonight will be mathematically eliminated from the playoff race. We are not sure right now if it an injury or illness and if it is to either Reimer or Gustavsson. We will have updates for you when we get the information.

Next part of the series, sorry for the delay folks. Without further to do! Best Save of the season!
Alson:
This is the save of the year in my opinion. Rinne stretches out past splits and uses his glove to rob him. The glove save itself a nasty save that is highlight worthy. But the diving?? I can't do that even on NHL 12. Trust me, I've tried. He's done something not even a video game charcter can do and in the games they often overstretch the abilities. The Blues get an interference call too. Just simply amazing.
Kyle: Carey Price makes 2 huge saves to preserve the shutout during the third period. He robs Antti Miettinenwith his glove and t hen he robs him again as a desperation save and is able to hold onto the puck for the whistle
Geoffrey:
This save is completely crazy. The pens are shorthanded and turn over the puck at their blue line. Hanzal's on a partial break away when fleury just dives in front of him and stones him. Even his own defender, Niskanen is surprised and trips over fleury. Fleury is an amazing acrobatic goalie. all you have to do is watch the recap of that game and you'll see how many crazy saves he does
The NHLPA has officialy filed a greivance on behalf of Oilers forward Ben Eager. On November 26th the Edmonton Oilers were at Vancouver in a game against the Vancouver Canucks. During the game, Eager was assesed a penalty. As he sat down in the box. He slashed his stick at the box in anger. During that slash, he unfortunately smashed an HD Camera broken. Canucks' management was not happy obviously and demanded that the Oilers pay for the new camera. In return, the Oilers docked $13,000 (the said price of the camera) from Eager's $1 Million dollar contract.
The greivance was not filed because the NHLPA thinks the teams should pay for the camera, but instead the price of $13,000 is in dispute. For example, a question in dispute is who says the camera is worth $13,000 and not $10,000?
Reports out of Montreal press and Ex- NHL Executive Shawn Simpson's sources have said Patrick Roy will be next Habs GM and Bob Hartley coach. A quick note is that both of them are francophones. Roy and Hartley both speak french as a first language, an important factor to some of the fans.
