There is rumors and murmurs out of Montreal tonight that Patrick Roy has agreed in principal and with a verbal agreement with Habs president Geoff Molson to become the 28th head coach of the storied franchise. We can't independently confirm this ,but his name has been thrown out a lot and Roy himself has said that he would be interested in this job.

This is even more far fetched but like we said, we try to give you the rumors and murmurs that seem the most right and logical. There's talk out of Toronto and Montreal that there could be an interesting duo of Brisebois and Damphousse as the next GM and Assistant GM combo. For our French readers, we have a clip of Damphousse saying he would be interested in the job. Brisebois has been the favorite so far as the next GM and it could be something to keep an eye on.

We will have updates as they come.
